Grifols Engineering implements new labelling and filling line for reagent gel immunohematology cards in Melbourne, Australia

A new labelling and filling line for reagent gel immunohematology cards at the Lateral Diagnostics plant in Melbourne, Australia, has been completed and is now in operation.

 

The line consists of five modules - nutrition, filling and sealing, labelling, storage. and review - and was designed by Grifols Engineering drawing on the experience of Diagnostic Grifols.S.A, in compliance with the strictest GMP standards.

 

The line offers a fully automated process with a profibus network integrated control system, touchscreen PC operation, and data registration.

 

The equipment is networked, enabling remote access to facilitates technical support and rapid resolution of problems.

 

This development for the diagnostic sector is a unique technological solution developed by Grifols.
